- Behave calmly, don't argue, don't make sudden movements. If you are asked to show the contents of your pockets or bag, slowly show it to them. Always keep your hands where they can be seen.
- Don't voluntarily enter the premises where the occupiers are located, and try not to stay alone with the occupiers.
- Try to always have witnesses with you when communicating with the occupiers. They can see that you are being detained and inform your family if the situation worsens.
- If you know that you are likely to meet with the occupiers, notify someone you know by phone or SMS in advance. But immediately delete the SMS message from your phone after sending it.
- correspondence with representatives of the Defence Forces of Ukraine;
- contacts that may raise additional questions;
- photos or videos of the occupiers' equipment or personnel, secret or sensitive facilities;
- Ukrainian symbols.
